“The Body Detective”

Guiding Your Path to Optimal Health

Are you…

These are some of the reasons why clients book in for Kinesiology. I work alongside you, do the body detective work, empowering and guiding you on your path to optimal health.  With a Kinesiology balance there is a massage element to the therapy but many more techniques are used.  We look at your nutrition, your emotional state, any stressors in your lifestyle and find ways to help you thrive and to feel great about yourself again. I help you to make the changes and improvements you are searching for.

Welcome, I’m Nic

Functional Kinesiology is a powerful therapy that links together all aspects of health.

I work with clients from my garden therapy room based in Titchfield, Hampshire, UK.

Why come for Kinesiology?

On a day to day basis many things (stressors) happen that cause an imbalance in body and mind. If these imbalances are not addressed our body starts to make compensations.  For example, we often hold stress in the jaw, which can cause pain.  This is one of many imbalances that can be corrected with Kinesiology. The focus for this balance would be to ease the pain but to also detect and address the root cause of the stress.

Common reasons people come into clinic:

  • Skin issues

  • Allergies

  • Constipation

  • Diarrhoea

  • Bloating

  • IBS

  • Stress

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • SIBO, Candida, Parasites

  • Pain

  • Emotional blockages

  • Hormone imbalances

  • Looking for natural remedies

I am here to support, manage and educate, to join up the dots, to keep questioning until we find the root cause of the issue.

What clients say…

  • "The mystery and the magic of the treatment is not something I fully understand yet but having seen the impact of your work on me after one session, I am very keen to find out what happens next. I have been following the homework and already feel better putting in the very specific but easy recommended changes to my diet and routine."

  • "I immediately felt at ease and in very capable hands."

  • "My brain is noticeably clearer and even dairy isn’t knocking me off balance for days as it was before."

  • "I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all the help you’ve given me over the last few months. For the first time in over a decade, I’m not completely exhausted the whole time."

  • "I was fortunate to experience Nic’s Bach Flower Remedy work. Making up an “emotion potion” specifically for me that linked to affirmations for areas that I have been struggling with was genius."

What is Functional Kinesiology?

There are many different types of Kinesiology. Functional Kinesiology’s focus is the interplay between three sets of hormones: blood sugar hormones, stress hormones, and sex hormones and their impact on the digestive and immune systems.  I also focus on emotional transformation and the impact that emotions have on wellbeing.

As with all Kinesiology therapies, muscle testing is used to communicate with your body.  The quality of the muscle movement tells me where your imbalances lie and where to focus  your balance.

The 4 realms that I work in:

  • Biochemical

We are all biochemically individual with unique nutritional needs based on genetics, lifestyle and exposure to environmental stresses.

  • Electrical

Using the Traditional Chinese Medicine meridian system I use touch rather than acupuncture to balance the energies of the body.

  • Emotional

Looking at subjective experiences, physiological and behavioural responses, and by using the 5-element wheel in Traditional Chinese Medicine I explore emotional states.

  • Structural

I analyse the movement of the body. By using massage and chiropractic techniques I work to realign and manipulate imbalances to ease pain and discomfort.
